'Anwar' first screening held

An exclusive screening of producer Rajesh Singh and director Manish Jha’s much-in-news film ANWAR was held on Thursday night [4th January] at Zee Preview Theatre in Andheri. Present on the occasion were the stars of the film Manisha Koirala and Siddharth Koirala along with Ketan Mehta with wife Deepa Sahi, Vivek Mushran, director Vicky Chopra [FIGHT CLUB] and Govinda’s wife Sunita and their son Yashvardhan.
While the film features a number of actors, the one who’s bound to benefit the maximum is Siddharth Koirala, who surprises you with a competent performance in the title role. Manish Jha’s execution of the subject is another strong point, especially towards the second half. ANWAR is slated for release next week [12th January].
