Naseer to do Jagmohan Mundhra's Shoot On Sight

Jagmohan Mundhra has finalized Naseeruddin Shah to play the role of an Indian cop in Britain in Jagmohan Mundhra’s Shoot On Sight. Few weeks back there was a buzz that the Mundhra was trying to rope in Amitabh Bachchan for the role. However, when talks with Bachchan failed, he finalized Naseer to play the role. Mundhra says that Naseer was informed about Big B and Ben Kingsley being considered for the role earlier, yet he was ready to do the film. Naseer would have started shooting for the film, but due to his son’s accident he couldn’t resume the shoot. He will however, join the shoot in London from March end.
Shoot On Sight will be the international film which will star British actress Greta Scacchi as Naseer’s wife. The film is a story of an Asian Muslim cop in London whose loyalty gets questioned after decades of service in the force.
