We love our stars to bits and we get all warm and fuzzy in our hearts when we see Bollywood and fashion come together. We have recently witnessed the Lakme Fashion Week and the HDIL Couture Week both of which were high on glam and a stage for Bollywood's best. Presenting the dazzling new Bollywood showstoppers...
Superstar Salman Khan is known for his big heart and he organised a larger than life fashion show at the HDIL Couture Week in lieu of his charity 'Being Human'. The show witnessed not one or two, but a whooping eight showstoppers besides Salman himself. Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Rani Mukherjee and Sushmita Sen each appeared in a costume from eras ranging from 1920's to 1990's and later sashayed on the ramp with Salman wearing various colours of 'Being Human' ganjis.
Here is an actress we haven't seen in a long time. Pooja Batra walked the ramp for designer Babita Malkani at the Lakme Fashion Week. The leggy showstopper looked ravishing in the earthy gown, a look only she could have pulled off.
Each fashion week gets more and more exciting with each season. Bollywood stars make perfect fashion icons and we know we will see them more and more on the ramp. Let us know who your favourite showstopper was…until then, adios!
Nandana Sen was seen looking ethereal as the showstopper for designer Digvijay Singh. Her face might be a little lost in the willowy hair and the floral crown but the dress brought out such radiance in Nandana who seemed to float on the ramp.
The Lakme Fashion Week also saw the works of accessory designer Malini Agarwala with her brand 'Malaga'. Sophie Choudry was the showstopper and it seemed the sun was shining solely on her with all that saffron and yellow of her ensemble and accessories. Turmeric land beckoning, much?
Gulp. How scrumptious does Arjun Rampal look as the showstopper for designer Shahab Durazi at the HDIL Couture Week. While we get over the delight that Arjun was, in this delish black & white tuxedo with that chic cummerbund, we suggest the guys put it on their must buy list this festive season.
