Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield in talks to star in romance film We Live In Time

Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield are reportedly in talks to star in romance film We Live In Time. The Academy Award nominees recently created buzz on social media after they presented the screenplay prizes at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony.

According to Variety, John Crowley is attached to direct the film whose screenplay comes from Nick Payne. StudioCanal reportedly developed the script and will produce with Sunny March. The film is described as a “funny, deeply moving and immersive love story.”

Production on the romance film is expected to begin later this year. StudioCanal executives Ron Halpern, EVP global production, and Joe Naftalin, SVP global production, are overseeing the project on behalf of the studio.

On the work front, Pugh was last seen in Don't Worry Darling alongside Harry Styles. She will next star in Netflix period drama The Wonder and Morgan Freeman starrer A Good Person, followed by Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Dune: Part Two.

Meanwhile, Garfield is coming off his acclaimed performance in the series Under the Banner of Heaven. The series also earned him an Emmy and SAG Award nomination. The Spider-Man: No Way Home actor also received an Oscar nomination for his performance in Tick…Tick…Boom!
