San Diego Comic-Con 2024 kicked off with a bang unlike any before. The Hall H was filled with anticipation, not just for the usual panels and reveals, but for a surprise screening of the highly-anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine. Fans buzzed with excitement as rumours of a hidden treat swirled through the crowd. Their suspicions were confirmed in the most electrifying way possible. Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, and director/writer/producer Shawn Levy took the stage alongside Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.
According to Deadline, the crowd erupted in cheers, the energy palpable as anticipation soared. “Why, watching a surprise screening of Deadpool & Wolverine,” Reynolds quipped. A short, hilarious chat ensued, further amping up the excitement before the lights dimmed and the roar of the projector filled the hall.
