The Fantastic Four: Pedro Pascal shares first photo with Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn

Marvel fans are in a state of pure euphoria as the first official cast photo of the highly anticipated The Fantastic Four film has dropped. Shared by the charismatic Pedro Pascal on his Instagram, the image features the full ensemble: Pascal as Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.

The revelation of this iconic quartet has been a long time coming. Since their casting announcement on Valentine’s Day this year, fans have been eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the actors together in character. While speculation ran rampant that this photo might be a sneak peek from the set, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has confirmed that filming doesn’t commence until July 29, the day after San Diego Comic-Con.

With production kicking off next week, anticipation for The Fantastic Four is reaching fever pitch. Previously, Marvel had two films which were released in 2005 and 2007, respectively starring Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, and Michael Chiklis. A reboot was attempted in 2015 by Josh Trank starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell.

The Fantastic Four will kick off Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, making Deadpool & Wolverine and Blade as the final two films in Phase Five.

The Fantastic Four hits theatres on July 25, 2025.
