Super 30 did very well over the weekend as Rs. 50.76 crores came in. This was after Sunday showed further growth with Rs. 20.74 crores coming in. Considering the fact that the film had started with Rs. 11.83 crores on Friday, this is good momentum gained in the first three days.
The collections so far and much stronger than what Kaabil had gained in its first three days [Rs. 38.87 crores]. Now it has to be seen how the first week numbers turn out to be for the Hrithik Roshan starrer. Back in 2017, Kaabil had more than doubled its first three days numbers to bring in Rs. 79.60 crores after seven days. While one can't expect a similar trend for Super 30 this week, rest assured it would stay stable for sure. If Monday numbers fall in Rs. 7-8 crores range, it would ensure that the first week closes around the Rs. 80 crores mark.
The trending so far indicates that producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Vikas Behl could well be looking at a Rs. 100 Crore Club entrant with Super 30 by the end of second weekend itself. Where does it go post that would decide how big does the film eventually turn out to be at the Box Office.
