Srikanth is now building its case well to go past the Rs. 40 crores mark in three weeks flat. What could well have been a good enough lifetime score for the film would be achieved by next Thursday itself, and then some more would be added to it as well before the close of its theatrical run, which is going to be an achievement in itself.
This has been made possible by yet another solid growth that the Tushar Hiranandani directed film has enjoyed on Saturday, what with Rs. 2.15 crores more coming in. On Friday, the film had collected Rs. 1.18 crore so this is an excellent increment in numbers. As has been the case with the film ever since its release, multiplex audiences have been lapping up to it and though the footfalls haven’t gone crazy or anything, they are still consistent enough to ensure that those Rs. 1-2 crore get added on a daily basis.
That has ensured that Rs. 35.35 crores have already been collected by the Rajkummar Rao starrer and today there would be at least a couple of crores more added in. Yes, due to all important IPL finals, the collections will be impacted on the evening and night shows. Still, even if it manages to stay in the thereabouts of Saturday score, it would be good enough to take the film into the weekdays on a solid note.
