The jump has come primarily in the multiplex chains - PVR, Inox, Cinepolis - side by side the chains like MovieMax and Miraj.
The two-day total of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani now stands at Rs. 27.50 crores and the movie will be targeting an opening weekend of Rs. 45 crores, which will be a fair result, though a lot for the film would depend on how it does on the weekdays. The costs for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani are on the higher side and hence, its crucial to record healthy trends over the weekdays.
