Pathaan Overseas Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan starrer collects USD 4.50 mil. [Rs. 36.68 cr.] on Day 1 in overseas :Bollywood Box Office

The Siddharth Anand directorial Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham was released yesterday to a thunderous response from the audience. In the domestic market, the Yash Raj Films production hit a massive 5,500 screens and witnessed an immense rate of advance bookings. Similarly in the overseas market, Pathaan which was released across 2,500 screens has been doing rather well. In fact, Pathaan has managed to draw in a staggering USD 4.50 million [Rs. 36.68 cr.] at the overseas box office.

Unsurprisingly, the overseas market of the U.A.E/G.C.C territory leads the Pathaan box office with collections of USD 1.60 million [Rs. 13.04 cr.], following this market is the overseas territory of North America that registered USD 1.50 million [Rs. 12.22 cr.]. While these two markets made up for a major chunk of Pathaan’s overseas business, territories like U.K. & Europe drew in USD 650k [Rs. 5.30 cr.] while the rest of the overseas markets drew in USD 750k [Rs. 6.11 cr.].

As of now, Pathaan continues to see its patronage and footfalls grow. In fact, with positive reviews and good audience feedback, the business of the film is likely to see further growth. Trade predictions depict a highly favourable picture claiming that with the five-day extended weekend, the business of Pathaan will set new benchmark records.
