The Kartik Aaryan – Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi that released last week has been doing brisk business. After receiving positive reviews from the critics the business of the film saw good growth in numbers with audience taking a liking to the film as well.

Collecting Rs. 32.13 cr Luka Chuppi has managed to become the fifth highest opening weekend grosser of 2019. Though the business of the film has managed to surpass previous releases like The Accidental Prime Minister that collected Rs. 11.90 cr, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga that collected Rs. 11.83 cr, and Thackeray that collected Rs. 10.50 cr, it does not manage to out beat certain other releases like Gully Boy that collected Rs. 72.45 cr, Total Dhamaal that collected Rs. 62.40 cr, Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi that collected Rs. 41.35 cr, and Uri – The Surgical Strike that had collected Rs. 35.73 cr.
As of now, with Luka Chuppi still running in theatres with little competition from the other release Sonchiriya and the previous releases Total Dhamaal, expectations are that the business of the film will continue to find sustenance over the coming week.
