The Raj Mehta directorial Jugjugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor released last week on Friday. Immensely promoted and hyped the film opened on a good note. Following this with positive feedback from critics and audience alike the business of Jugjugg Jeeyo saw good growth on its first Saturday and Sunday in theatres. Not surprisingly, in the overseas markets as well, the Dharma Productions & Viacom 18 venture has been faring well.
As per reports, in the overseas market of USA and Canada Jugjugg Jeeyo has managed to draw in USD 1 million [Rs. 7.89 cr] in just five days of its releases. While globally Jugjugg Jeeyo hit 4389+ screens, of which the film saw a release in 1014 screens in the overseas markets. Given this wide release, and positive word of mouth it comes as no surprise that the film has been doing well.
Going forward, Jugjugg Jeeyo that appeals more to multiplex going audience in metro cities predictions state that the business of the film will continue to see a steady flow of collections as the days progress. In fact, trade estimates that the film will manage to hold strong despite new releases hitting screens later this week.
