There are continued footfalls for Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat on working days as well and the run so far indicates that it’s not just a film which did well on opening on the basis of good music and Harshvardhan Rane’s newfound popularity; there is more to offer as well to the audiences. That can well be seen in Friday collections which are not too far away from Thursday numbers of Rs. 7.10 crores.

With Rs. 6.41 crores coming in, the drop is expectedly just nominal and now with the weekend being back, there would be an upwards trajectory all over again. In fact, it would be very interesting to see that how big the jump turns out to be and whether the collections will just about cross Thursday numbers (Rs. 7.10 crores) or aim for even Wednesday numbers (Rs. 8.88 crores). If somehow it manages to cross the latter, then it has a shot at coming close to its opening day collections (Rs. 10.10 crores) on Sunday, hence registering yet another double-digit score in its eventful run so far.
So far, the Milap Zaveri directed romantic musical drama has collected Rs. 32.49 crores and continues to stay on track for that Rs. 50 crores milestone in its first 6 day run. The film is a hit for sure and next couple of weeks will decide if it has a shot as emerging as a superhit as well. That could well happen if the film could get into that Rs. 75 crores zone and with an open season ahead, this cannot be ruled out either.
