The Kangana Ranaut action entertainer Dhaakad hit screens on Friday. In the overseas markets, it has released across 300+ screens. However, despite the promotions the film faced a tough time enticing the audience. With less than appreciative reviews and low key audience word of mouth the film has been facing an uphill task at the box office. The movie had a disastrous start in the overseas markets especially in New Zealand on Day 1 where it collected a paltry Rs. 22,022. In its opening weekend, Dhaakad collected approx. 60k USD [Rs. 46.49 lacs] in overseas making it the *lowest opening weekend grosser of 2022*.
