Shah Rukh Khan certainly enjoys a massive fan following in India, if that wasn’t all the actor also has an ardent fan following across the seas as well. Reiterating this fact is the collections of his latest release Raees that literally took the U.A.E/ G.C.C market by storm.
Collecting 1.4 mil. USD / 5.14 mil AED [Rs. 9.53 cr] on Wednesday and Thursday, Raees has come pretty close to what the previously release Aamir Khan starrer Dangal had collected. In fact while Dangal had collected Rs. 11.11 cr (Thursday AED 2.5 mil [Rs. 4.63 cr] + Friday AED 3.5 mil [Rs. 6.48 cr]) in two days. Raees marginally misses claiming its position.
However, considering that Raees enjoys an extended weekend since it released on Wednesday in both the domestic and overseas markets, all that is left to be seen is whether the opening weekend collections of Raees can surpass that of Dangal.
