The much talked about David Dhawan directorial Judwaa 2 which stars Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu released today. However as usual the film hit screens a day earlier in the overseas territories of U.A.E/G.C.C. Like the domestic market that has received Judwaa 2 with open arms with advance booking for the film showing a good trend, the overseas market as well had responded in a similar fashion.
Reports state that Judwaa 2 has managed to rake in a staggering USD 265,000 [Rs. 1.73 cr] within the UAE/ GCC market. Interestingly, the collections of Judwaa 2 have recorded higher number than Varun Dhawan’s previous release as well. In fact, the film has recorded 40% higher collections as compared to Badrinath Ki Dulhania and approximately 35% higher than the Aksahy Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2.
As of now, with positive reviews and strong word of mouth Judwaa 2 is expected to see exponential growth in box office collections over the weekend.
