This week saw the release of the third instalment in the HOUSEFULL franchise, HOUSEFULL 3. The film which features an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri released in approx. 600 screens in the overseas.
The movie has grossed approx. 1.2 mil. AED [2.2 crores] in its opening day in the U.A.E/G.C.C territories. It has registered one of the highest non-Eid openings. If opening day comparisons have to be drawn for these territories, then Bajirao Mastani had grossed 690k AED, Singh is Blling had grossed 810k while Welcome Back had grossed approx. 1 mil. AED
