The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal has been doing brisk business at the box office ever since its release. In fact the media hasn’t stopped talking about how the film that is directed by Nitesh Tiwari has managed not only to entice the audience but also to break quite a few records. However, there is one such record that not many may have noticed that we did and just had to share.
We are talking about the record of Dangal doing a minimum business of Rs. 20 crore every day since its release. In fact Dangal has become the first and the only movie in the history of Bollywood to have collected more than Rs. 20 crores on each of the seven days in the first week. If that wasn’t all, Dangal that has been well received has managed to post similar figures even on weekdays, a period where usually films see a drop in collections at the box office.
Day wise collection update for the first seven days:
Day 1 (Fri) – 29.78 Cr
Day 2 (Sat) – 34.82 Cr
Day 3 (Sun) – 42.41 Cr
Day 4 (Mon) – 25.69 Cr
Day 5 (Tue) – 23.09 Cr
Day 6 (Wed) – 21.46 Cr
Day 7 (Thu) – 20.29 Cr
