It has been a week now since the release of the Aditya Chopra directed film Befikre starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor. Though the film started its box office journey on a good note, collections saw a drastic decline over the week.
In this box office report we take a look at the opening week collections of Befikre while comparing them to Ranveer Singh’s previously released films. Collecting Rs. 48.75 cr in its first week Befikre ranks as the actor’s fifth highest opening week grosser. Though unable to surpass the collections of Ranveer’s previous releases like Bajirao Mastani that collected Rs. 86.15 cr, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela that collected Rs. 82.15 cr, Gunday that collected Rs. 63.08 cr and Dil Dhadkne Do that collected Rs. 56.1 cr; the film does manage to out beat the collections of films like Kill Dil that collected Rs. 29.28 cr, Lootera that collected Rs. 26.8 cr, Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl that collected Rs. 24.93 cr and even Band Baaja Baaraat that collected Rs. 9.40 cr.
