The Ranveer Singh – Vaani Kapoor starrer Befikre released a week back. While the film opened on a good note and even registered well above average numbers over its opening weekend, it saw a decline in collections as the week progressed.
In this box office report we take a look at the Opening Week collections of Befikre while comparing the same to previously released films in 2016. Collecting Rs. 48.75 cr Befikre comes in as the twelfth highest opening week grosser of the year. The film manages to surpass the collections of previous releases like Udta Punjab that collected Rs. 48.5 cr, Dear Zindagi that collected Rs. 47 cr and Kapoor & Sons that collected Rs. 46.93 cr.
However, Befikre does not manage to out beat other big releases like Sultan that collected Rs. 229.16 cr, M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story that collected Rs. 94.13 cr, Rustom that collected Rs. 90.9 cr and a host of others. In fact, failing to cross the Rs. 50 cr mark, Befikre even fails to surpass the collections of Dishoom that collected Rs. 53.34 cr and Mohenjo Daro that collected Rs. 51.18 cr.
