Earlier we had reported that the second part in the Baahubali saga, Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that had stormed the global box office, had in fact surpassed the Aamir Khan starrers Dangal and PK to emerge as the highest grossing film in the Mumbai circuit.
Well if just breaking the previous record wasn’t enough, reports state that Baahubali 2 has now set an altogether new benchmark by collecting over Rs. 160 crores within the Mumbai circuit. Comparatively, the other films that come close to this new benchmark have been Dangal that had collected Rs. 105 cr and PK that had collected Rs. 104 cr, while Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan had raked in Rs. 90 crores.
Interesting, with this, Baahubali 2 leads the Mumbai territory charts with a margin of Rs. 55 crores over Dangal which is ranked second.
