The Nitest Tiwari directed film, Dangal starring Aamir Khan released five weeks ago on December 23, 2016. After opening to an awe inspiring response from the audience the film continued its stellar run at the box office.
In this box office report we take a look at the collections of Dangal in its fifth week in theatres while comparing the same to previous releases that have made it to their fifth week. Collecting Rs. 8.95 cr in week 5 Dangal manages to claim the second spot amongst the All Time highest fifth week grosser, while firmly holding the first spot is another Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots that had collected Rs. 9.56 cr.
However, Dangal does manage to surpass other films like Bahubali: The Beginning that had collected Rs. 6.09 cr. (Hindi version only), Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 4.02 cr, Tanu Weds Manu Returns that collected Rs. 3.25 cr and Sultan that collected Rs. 2.12 cr.
