Bholaa has stepped into Week 4 after staying reasonably stable during the weekdays gone by. Around Rs. 3 crores* more came in and that’s as per expectations too since the maximum chunk of the target audience has already been exhausted. Now it’s about getting in some bonus numbers and in that aspect the Ajay Devgn film is hanging in there.
The film has now collected Rs. 87.69 crores* and it will cross Rs. 90 crores this week. Yes, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has released this Friday but then Saturday and Sunday are going to be big days for movie business this Eid and hence some sort of spill over would benefit Bholaa as well. Yes, it would have been nice had some additional crores come in already since that would have allowed Rs. 100 Crore Club entry for the film. After all, there are 8 more weeks available before the next big release and hence the only choice for the audiences when it comes to Bollywood movies would be these two films.
Nonetheless, Bholaa will hang in there and some sort of footfalls will keep trickling in for the film. The collections would stay on in lakhs now, though it would be interesting to see if somehow it manages that one final push and gets into that Rs. 1 crore range on Sunday. Now that’s the next achievement which would be keenly observed by the exhibitors in the theatrical run of Bholaa.
