The Salman Khan starrer Bharat released two days ago across 4000 screens in the domestic market. After opening on a thunderous note, the business of the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, saw a good rate of collections on its second day as well. Collecting Rs. 31 cr on Day 2, the collection of Bharat did see a drop from Day 1, however being a working day, collections of over Rs. 30 cr still is a benchmark.
Currently, with the Eid festivities far from over and the weekend drawing near, expectations are that the business of Bharat will see a spurt in collections. In fact, if the business of the film continues with the current trend, Day 3 could well see a collection between Rs. 28-30 cr. In this case, Bharat will sail past the Rs. 100 cr mark by the end of its third day in theatres. Going by trade predictions, Bharat could well collect Rs. 102 cr by the end of Day 3, with this total going past the Rs. 150 cr mark by Sunday evening.
As of now, all eyes are on the third day business of Bharat to see whether the film crosses the Rs. 100 cr mark, or will the hype surrounding Bharat drop leading to a decrease in collections.
