Rashmika Mandanna started her journey as a south Indian actress around seven years ago. She has attained a major fan following in such a short span of time. But she started gaining acceptance from the people from the Hindi belt with the super success of the Hindi dubbed version of her Telugu film Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1. She then made her official debut in Bollywood with Goodbye and later starred in Mission Majnu. Her third Bollywood release Animal has ensured her entry into the rare Rs. 400 Crores Club.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, Animal has reached a mammoth score of Rs. 434.02 crores in just 10 days. Considering that the film received an adult only certificate from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) and has a runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes, this is a massive achievement. It has ensured that Rashmika has reached the Rs. 400 Crores Club in just her third Hindi film. Animal is also the firs Rs. 400 crores movie for Ranbir Kapoor.
Rashmika’s next biggie is the second film in the Pushpa series titled Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2. That film is also expected to garner record-breaking business at the box office.
Produced under the banners of T-Series, Cine1 Studios and Bhadrakali Pictures, Animal also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri.
