Filmmaker Om Raut’s Adipurush is less than 24 hours away from release and the excitement for the film is increasing with every passing day. This is also seen in the rapid advance sales the film is garnering for the first weekend. Bollywood Hungama has been regularly reporting on the same and now we have the numbers of the film’s advance booking till Sunday.
As per the veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the total number of tickets sold for Adipurush’s Hindi and Telugu versions in PVR and Inox outlets till today 11 am is 4,79,811. Breaking up this number, the film has sold 2,22,552 tickets for Friday (1,26,050 in PVR and 96,502 in Inox); 1,39,034 tickets for Saturday (83,596 in PVR and 55,438 in Inox) and 1,18,225 tickets for Sunday (69,279 in PVR and 48,946 in Inox).
As per latest update, the total number of tickets booked for Adipurush till Sunday in its Hindi and Telugu versions in PVR and Inox outlets has reached 5,47,240 till 2:30 pm today.
Adipurush is the retelling of the great ancient Indian epic Ramayana. The film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in the roles of Raghav, Janaki and Lankesh respectively. Devdatta Nage and Sunny Singh will be seen in the roles of Bajrang and Lakshman.
As an additional feature, the teaser of the Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma starrer Gadar 2 is attached to the print of Adipurush.
