83 went down on Monday as Rs. 2.01 crores came in. This was seemingly on the cards but then weekend collections had given some hopes that the film may just about managed to stay somewhat stable. That didn’t happen though and Monday footfalls indicate that the film is now in its last leg.
The Kabir Khan directed film had collected Rs. 4.36 crores on Friday and Monday has fallen by more than 50%. The film is in fact now collecting less than Pushpa (Hindi) which had released a day earlier and is primarily collecting from the single screens. This means that the count of footfalls has widened further since 83 is collecting is primarily from premium properties where ticket rates are double or even triple of the single screens.
Currently standing at Rs. 93.28 crores, the film will now have to wait for the third weekend before it enters the 100 Crore Club.
Flop.
