Overseas Business Hits A New Low!

None of the new releases have made any kind of an impact at the U.K. box-office. However, in an otherwise dull scenario, DIL NE JISE APNA KAHAA is faring better than expected.


U.K. BOX-OFFICE

  • DIL NE JISE APNA KAHAA [last weekend: No. 20, this weekend: No. 20] is rock-steady. In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 24,919 on 17 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,466. The total so far has been £ 220,159 [approx. Rs. 1.83 crores].


  • MADHOSHI has debuted at No. 31 position in its opening weekend. The film has collected £ 13,887 on 9 screens [approx. Rs. 11.55 lacs], with the per screen average working out to £ 1,543. The opening weekend average is better than JISM [£ 739], but lower than AETBAAR [£ 1,847], both starring John and Bipasha in lead roles.


  • CHOKHER BALI has debuted at No. 38 position in its opening weekend. The film has collected £ 9,265 on 8 screens [approx. Rs. 7.70 lacs], with the per screen average working out to £ 1,158. Dull!


  • KING OF BOLLYWOOD has debuted at No. 39 position in its opening weekend. The film has collected £ 9,205 on 28 screens [approx. Rs. 7.65 lacs], with the per screen average working out to £ 329. Disaster!


  • DHOOM [last weekend: No. 30, this weekend: No. 41] is steady on the lower side. In its fifth weekend, the film has collected £ 6,750 on 9 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 750. The total so far has been £ 207,097 [approx. Rs. 1.72 crores].


  • MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI [last weekend: No. 49, this weekend: No. 56] continues to show a rise on limited prints. In its ninth weekend, the film has collected £ 983 on 2 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 492 [8th weekend: £ 467; 7th weekend: 407]. The total so far has been £ 654,508 [approx. Rs. 5.44 crores].


  • PHIR MILENGE [last weekend: No. 38, this weekend: No. 60] is weak. In its fifth weekend, the film has collected £ 538 on 5 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 108. The total so far has been £ 116,573 [approx. Rs. 96.99 lacs].
