Despite the presence of Hollywood biggies like QUANTUM OF SOLACE, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 and SAW V, GOLMAAL RETURNS fetched an impressive start in its opening 5-day weekend in U.K. The numbers are impressive in view of the fact that the film doesn't really star 'Overseas friendly' stars. It's also impressive in Middle East. However, the film is below the mark in America. Box-office trackers indicate that the film fetched approx. $ 1,80,000 on 60 screens in its opening 3-day weekend [approx. 85 lacs]... On the other hand, FASHION is extremely poor in U.K., although it has fared slightly better in America and Australia. Yet, the overall figures are disappointing... BIG Pictures' distributed American film THE OTHER END OF THE LINE has also cut a sorry picture in its opening weekend in America.
