Business Takes A Dip!

While BRIDE AND PREJUDICE continues to work magic in U.S.A. and Australia, the recent Hindi releases - KARAM and SOCHA NA THA - have gone completely unnoticed in U.K. On the other hand, BEWAFAA, which had been rock-steady, has taken a dip this weekend in both U.S. and U.K. markets.

U.K. BOX-OFFICE

  • BEWAFAA [last weekend: No. 19, this weekend: No. 24]: In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 44,844 on 26 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,725. Total: £ 382,006 [approx. Rs. 3.17 crores].


  • BLACK [last weekend: No. 28, this weekend: No. 27]: In its sixth weekend, the film has collected £ 21,121 on 14 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,509. Total: £ 399,429 [approx. Rs. 3.32 crores].


  • KARAM has debuted at No. 32 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 11,241 [approx. Rs. 9.34 lacs] on 8 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,405.
