‘Bol Bachchan’ fares well, ‘Eega’ superb!

BOL BACHCHAN has fared very well in the international markets. The weekend total stands at approx $ 2.06 million [approx Rs. 11.5 crores], which can be termed as a very good start … Telugu film EEGA has embarked on a superb start in U.S.A. Though released on limited screens, its business is bigger and better than most Hindi films … Punjabi film JATT & JULIET is a smash hit in Overseas.

U.K. & IRELAND BOX-OFFICE

  • BOL BACHCHAN: In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 1,61,047 [Rs. 1.39 crores] on 50 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 3,221.


  • TERI MERI KAHAANI: In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 20,624 on 18 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,146. Total: £ 4,20,867 [Rs. 3.64 crores].


  • JATT & JULIET [Punjabi]: In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 18,744 on 6 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 3,124. Total: £ 79,007 [Rs. 68.36 lacs].


  • SAGUNI [Tamil]: In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 2,141 on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 535. Total: £ 87,368 [Rs. 75.59 lacs].


  • MALLU SINGH [Malayalam]: In its sixth weekend, the film has collected £ 631 on 3 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 210. Total: £ 5,227 [Rs. 4.52 lacs].


  • ROWDY RATHORE: In its sixth weekend, the film has collected £ 451 on 3 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 150. Total: £ 4,40,773 [Rs. 3.81 crores].


  • FERRARI KI SAWAARI: In its fourth weekend, the film has collected £ 406 on 1 screen. Total: £ 1,39,097 [Rs. 1.20 crores].


  • DESI ROMEOS [Punjabi]: In its fourth weekend, the film has collected £ 10 on 1 screen. Total: £ 32,287 [Rs. 27.93 lacs].



U.S.A. BOX-OFFICE

  • BOL BACHCHAN: In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 5,61,996 [Rs. 3.13 crores] on 98 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 5,735.

  • SPIRIT [Malayalam]: In its fourth weekend, the film has collected $ 2,433 on 2 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 1,217. Total: $ 20,230 [Rs. 11.27 lacs].


  • SAGUNI [Tamil]: In its third weekend, the film has collected $ 352 on 1 screen. Total: $ 1,11,118 [Rs. 61.91 lacs].
