rockstar is a must watch. words aren't enough 2 describe rockstar. ranbir has delivered his best performance. and imtiaz ali has again outdone himself. and rahman sir, what can i say abt the legend, rockstar carries forward his legacy. nargis is also damn cute, makes a promising debut.
on the whole rockstar is the best movie of 2011, and is truly a masterpiece.

Imtiaz Ali's 'Rockstar' is a decent attempt, that works in most parts. However, the second hour, I felt, was slightly dragging & depressing. Nonetheless, it has a power-packed first-hour, an outstanding performance by Ranbir Kapoor & Wonderful Music by A.R Rahman, working all the way on it's advantage. 'Rockstar' tells the story of how a timid Janardhan Jakhar, transforms into Jordan, a 'Rockstar'. His journey is full of pain, redemption & realizations. In the course of his life, He falls in love with Heer, who plays a major part in his professional/personal life.

1st of all 3 hrs to long n boring
2nd the film goes round n round between ranbir's career n his girl n then ends abruptly in d middle of nowhere..!!!..ranbir n rehman have done a gud job but d script fails. Come on after sitting for a 3 hrs film I think that each of us deserve atleast a proper ending.

Upto interval it's just feel like ok there will be some expectation then after interval the movie gone to disastorous mode. It was not bearable. Very poor screenplay and direction and the unconventional love story is shown in this movie. There is no passion of ROCKSTAR, the protagonist Ranbir stuck in some unnecessary matter. Despite of Rahmans brilliant music it couldn't touch the soul. The soul of the movie is totally lost. very very bad movie. It can say that Imtiaz Ali ruins the Rahmans music in this movie.
