well guys i have watched don twice , i watched its first show yesterday and today i saw its mattine show again,taran was really harsh while writing the review, first of all movie is made for entertainment, not as a doucmentary for mass to incorporate moral values, hence it could be made from any view weather possitive or negative.. i am the fan of srk but i watched it because i liked it.... its true that after good start film does tend to bore a bit but from the last half hour of first half its superb... stunts r of international quality, and cinematography is to its best.... superb locations and eye catching secnes , at last what to say about srk, he is best .... he dilivers dialouges with punch .... he makes u belive he is something which u hate but u love.... best song of movie is main hoon don, but khaika pan also rocks srk does pull it off brillantly, ya u cant call it best movie but u can sure watch it and enjoy..... u will envy srk for his style.... absolute breathtaking acting.... nice job farhan for making it more enjoyable by changing plot and adding twist and turns... well it would be unfair if i would not give boman his credit, he was good , well done mamu... arjun and priyanka also did justice to their job, but kareena was odd part of movie she looked out of shape and was pathetic in dance.... esha did not much prescence but she was ok for her item work...well on thing is sure srk is diffrent from his usual, he brings that fire required for this role .... and plzzzz old don was made quite long time ago , so there is no need to compare and srk and amitaab r diffrent actors with diffrent style , both r good in their parts , its unfair to say srk couldnt match him, there is no criteria to compare both .. otherwise both are unique.... srk is king ... don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai..... go and see it..

Well let's see, the wait is finally over and breathes were taken away, who is here, well who else its DON. Its one of the most classic and most stylist films I have seen since COMPANY. Ram Gopal Varma's COMPANY is classic no doubt that, then now comes DON which is classic as well, sometimes I think that SHAHRUKH KHAN could have been "Malik Bhai" also. Anyways, since its DON era, lets talk about DON, its really cool and really bravely made. I love the music and the background music. We usually don't get to watch movies like DON that much in Indian Cinema, Indian Cinema always is full love stories which are not important to tell, only some love stories with great characters are important to tell, as VEER-ZAARA, DEVDAS,KANK. Farhan Akhtar made it perfect, no matter what critics think of the movie, but its awesome, critics don't know themselves how to make a single scene, but they keep talking its this and that. SRK played as DON really perfect. If critics thinks that DON met no expectations, please look at KRRISH, it made me sad to see that some sequences of that film was taken from SPIDER MAN-2, but DON is pure original from its story,acting,music,characters,locations and cinematography. I love it, I recommend it to everyone, please go ahead and watch something ORIGINAL and thats DON, after "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" the most two original Indian films I have seen in 2006. Watch it. On The Whole Don, I give it ***** stars, its not cause I am a SRK fan, but because its originally made perfectly. Thanks

Well to begin with i'll only say that farhan's direction, and shahrukh's acting as DON was just awesome. Im not comparing it with other movies because each one has their own story. Ofcourse amitabh starrer DON was a new concept at that time and i still believe that compared to him shahrukhs acting was just OK. But viewing it as just DON, was on thr whole a great experience. The smoothness, the bold storyline, no over-acting, a movie full of stlye. So it was another great movie experience.

For eg:- **** for deewane huye pagal, ****½ For KANK , **½ for Rang de basanti.... Only 2½..... Why… *½ for Swades….. I must say that the DON review you gave falls into the disappointment category. Guys, DON is a very good movie. Lot of Twists and superb action. SRK as Don is superb….. Boman Irani is exceptional. One question to Boman, Where were you all these years..? You are the best actor we have today. But the star of the movie is Farhan Akthar. Superb screen play and direction….Master story tellar. SEL’s music is also Good. Aaj ki raat rocks. “Kaike” is picturised beautifully. Overall a great movie.. Go.Watch. is also fine. Over all a great movie.. Go.Watch.

maine kal dono film don aur jaaneman deeki. don is saal ki sabse badi blockbuster hai. its an outstanding movie with outstanding performences by everyone and will win all the awards this year. purani don mein dialogue tha ki 'don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin na mumkin hai' laken ye proof kaise hua .amitab bachchan ko to police ne pakad kar maar diya to don ko pakadna mushkil kaise hua. laken shahrukh ki don mein ye proof hua hai kyun ki end tak police don ko pakad nahin pai. shahrukh ne amitab ko dho dala. khaike paan banaraswala is much better than the old one. ON THE WHOLE DON IS AN EXCELLENT FILM WHICH WILL BE THE BIGGEST BLOCKBUSTER OF THE YEAR.

Why Why Why... I wonder why would this film be ever called even close to be bad!! Just because you dont understand cinema! I was scrolling down this page and found a lot of crap on the way! If you wanna sob and dont wanna crack that peanut in your head called brain then dont see DON, if you dont like cinema please dont see DON, and for every other reason PLEASE watch DON. I have seen amitabh bachchan's DON about 30 times, still have the VHS and a VCD(orginal!) and today I went with a DON 6'something and came out with a DON 5'9". It wont be early to regard Farhan Akhtar as a master of the craft because this was THE, and I can bet, THE best possible remake. I have heard on some channel calling this film as a perfect TRIBUTE to DON, Lemme tell you it isnt the same DON firstly! Its more dramatic, NOT at all dull or anything (provided only if you arent too!). I went with six other people, age varying 15-35yrs and everyone had the same opinion!! IT ROCKS!!!! I WILL WATCH IT TWICE AGAIN ON SCREEN AND WILL APPEAL ALL THE CINEMA LOVERS TO SEE IT JUST FOR THE LOVE GOOD CINEMA IF NOTHING ELSE. And those who havent seen the first will miss nothing, please see it! God knows how much these film analysts are paid for giving bad reviews.

srk is king. srk is the only actor who could play don, vijay, vijay as don; but actually a fourth character as well. his don was sexy, scary,lethal and very clever and his vijay put a smile on my face every time. (how much of vijay was edited out of the final print only farhan chan say) but what rocks is the panache with which srk gave you clues to his fourth character while all the while fooling you into believing in his other characters until the final obvious clue is given. to me srk is bollywood and he has never disappointed me in any of the 50 roles i have watched him do since becoming a fan in 2004. so i knew that srk was going to rock in don; and he has. sorry taran, but this time i don't agree with your assessment of srk's performance at all. vijay was perfect and his action and dance scenes were perfect with main hoon don and khaike being the highlights of the show and a certain choreographer hopefully only working with srk on this first and last project. don isn't perfect, but it has enough great moments and performances dragging me back for many viewings before this movie leaves the big screen. and may we never see another movie where srk's character is not allowed to dance. i love it when srk is let loose to perform, because lets face it SRK PUTS EVERYONE ELSE TO SHAME. THANK YOU SRK.

Brilliant...finally a sleek and well made exciting..Hinidi movie guys this is wat we all have been waiting for Plus Points:1)Hve to say Yeh mera dil...kareena im dying to see u dance again... 2)The whole feel of the film is really good.stylish..classy..the action film weve grown up seeing in hollywood has finally been made in India 3)SRK...performed well...dint really expect it to be honest 4)Story and the new twists in the tale...awesome 5)Oh i forgot the action is really cool ya...best till now...specially the car chase in the middle of a basti..ya thts rite! Minus Points:1)Length...cld be shorter... 2)Aaj ki raat..rnd tht song attention does tend to wander 3)The mistakes in the old don haven been rectified Ive seen both the films and have to say that they both are brilliant...GO for them both

Don - The Chase Begins is a must see for all. It's great.. the movie correctly matches with the tagline "Don Ko Pakadna Mushkil Hi Nahin Naamumkin Hai". the story is great and I liked and would like to watch it again and again. SRK as usual is great and will always deliver best on screen. The music is rocking and also the action sequences are great and you would like to watch them again and again. Priyanka Chopra has also done well. Boman Irani is great. Others are OK. Great Movie.. Recommended.. You won't be disappointed. But keep in mind, don't compare it with the original. This is different from the old one. Keep your comparisons at home and come and enjoy this great film.. I can't wait to get it on DVD...

Don-the chase begins again comes with huge expectations.Firstly,it is a remake of a yesteryears hit.Secondly,it is made by the director of dil chahta hai.Finally,it has king khan playing the lead role.But the one question you might ask is that ,does it fulfill your expectations? The answer to all these questions is yes! When you watch the first scene in don you realize farhan akhtar has something special for you.But as the movie goes on it becomes a little sluggish,but there are enough thrills to overshadow the flaws in the script.Especially the climax of the film, the climax will leave you stunned.Even the scene before the intermission is quite stunning.Don is a definite blockbuster.At the box office it will create magic.
