Well let me first start by saying,DO NOT COMPARE IT WITH THE ORIGINAL.Don't do it unless u do not want to enjoy another director's genius point of view.Yes,the new Don had a few mistakes with the pace of the movie in the first half as it was looking very fast,however in the second half,Farhan was able to pull it back.The film has some amazing action and some very good acting by Boman Irani,Om Puri and offcourse THE KING.(Who according to me is 1000 times better than Salman,I dunno why people even care to compare them,while Salman is so pathetic in his acting nowdays).With his own view of the movie and giving his own twists,Farhan has realy delivered a great NEW DON,which is realy NEW and has its own story to tell rather than what people thought it would be...a complete remake,copy types.Farhan has remade the very well,not perfectly but very well none the less.HOWEVER...........THE BEST PART OF THE MOVIE IS THE ENDING....JUST WATCH OUT FOR IT,the ending alone is TOTAL PAISA WASOOL.

It has unique style,good songs,well crafted scenes,execellent cinematography,terrific actions. OVERALL I LOVED IT. I think it is going to be a huge hit. I must tell u one thing dont comapre with the old don. JUST GO AND WATCH NEW DON............ DON ROCKS...............................

When you've the best actor in the world present in a film, you can't replicate it by any Tom, Dick, Harry. It's clearly evident that srk has not given even a performance remotely as close to BIG-B, the original living legend, GOD in first person, whatever you call him. The storyline is faulty and so are the performances pathetic. The original was 10000000 times better. The film lacks pace and interest. Completely boring adventure. Headache assured.

I saw the Premiere of Don yesterday(Thursday), and i have to say i was pretty much impressed. Hats off to Farhan Akthar who has really shot the movie extremely well.The shots of Paris and Malaysia were taken at the right time of the day and they were more or less perfect.The story is so much different and is kind of a edge of seat thriller with lots of twists and turns and a unpredictable ending too. The acting by everyone is good,SRK does full justice to the role, i think he acted as good as he did in darr or baazigar.Boman Irani as dcp de silva also was good.As well as Priyanka Chopra,Isha Gopikar,Arjun Rampal.All of them did a great job.The action scenes were well executed and the all songs n choreography were well done too. Overall,its a classy flick and i can say its at par with even a hollywood movie.Its a must watch,so please dont miss it.

SRK tries so hard 4 the look of amitabh. priyanka goes over the top. isha koppikar is miscast. the music is average. i expected more from farhan akhtar, no comparisons 2 dil chahta hai. bad subject chose from farhan. bad direction. give it a miss
