Veteran actor Satish Shah is known for his comic roles in many Bollywood films. He is widely known for playing the titular character of Indravadhan Sarabhai in the popular Indian sitcom, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, also starring Ratna Pathak Shah and Rupali Ganguly.

After a long time, the veteran actor has made headlines for facing racist comments at London's Heathrow Airport. However, the way he handled the entire situation in a foreign land is winning hearts on the internet. Sharing the details of the incident, Satish Shah took to his verified Twitter handle and shared how he responded to the racist comment.

 

In his brief tweet, he explained how the Heathrow staff was wondering how he could afford first-class tickets. As Satish Shah heard them talking, he gave them a befitting yet humble reply. He said, “because we are Indians.” Reacting to his tweet, a bunch of Twitterati hailed the actor for his “dignified” response to the racist comment.

 

 

 

“We are proud of you Satish bhai,” wrote a user while another Twitter user commented, “Kudos, you did the right thing.” In addition, many suggested a couple of lines that Satish could add if he faces something similar in the future. Meanwhile, a few of them recalled facing racist behaviour in different countries.

Coming to the professional front, the 71-year-old actor will be next seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki, which will also feature Taapsee Pannu. Reportedly, he will be playing a London-based lawyer who fights the cases of illegal Asian immigrants. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Boman Irani will also essay an important character in the movie.
