B.O. update: 'Department' opens to poor houses

 

Despite formidable names on and off screen, the new release DEPARTMENT opened to dismal houses across the country. The opening and noon shows were in the range of 10% to 15% at most screens. The response at plexes was poor, while the start at single screens was equally discouraging. The film will have to show a big jump on Friday evening and also over the weekend if it has to sustain at the BO.
