KGF – Chapter 2 Box Office: Film beats Tanhaji, and 3 Idiots; ranks as third all-time highest fourth week grosser

The Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 was released four weeks ago, and since then there has been no stopping the film at the box office. After opening on a high note the collections of KGF 2 witnessed exponential growth in business with each passing week. After blitzing past the Rs. 100 cr, Rs. 200 cr, and Rs. 400 cr mark, the business of KGF – Chapter 2 has continued to see growth.

In fact, the business of the film manages to surpass the collections of previous releases like Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior which collected Rs. 21.65 cr, Kabir Singh which collected Rs. 16.66 cr, 3 Idiots which collected Rs. 15.63 cr, Chhichhore which collected Rs. 15.30 cr, Dangal which collected Rs. 15.08 cr, Padmaavat which collected Rs. 14.17 cr, and PK which had collected Rs. 13.55 cr. However, on the other hand, the business of KGF 2 does not surpass the collections of certain other releases like Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which collected Rs. 29.40 cr, and Uri - The Surgical Strike which collected Rs. 29.21 cr.

 

As of now, KGF – Chapter 2, which is expected to see further growth in collections, has managed to dominate the big screen despite new releases. Trade predictions state that over the coming weekend the collections of the film are set to see yet another jump.
