Hombale Films has issued an official statement mourning the untimely passing of junior artist M.F. Kapil. The production house, known for blockbusters like KGF and Kantara, expressed its heartfelt condolences to Kapil’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

In the statement, Hombale Films wrote, “We are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of junior artist M.F. Kapil. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.” The production house acknowledged the grief surrounding the tragic incident and extended their support to those affected.

However, the statement also addressed the misinformation being circulated in connection with the incident. Hombale clarified that Kapil's death did not occur on the sets of Kantara or during any film-related activity. “In light of recent discussions, we would like to respectfully clarify that the incident did not occur on the sets of Kantara. No filming was scheduled on that day and the unfortunate event took place during his personal engagement, outside the scope of any film related activity,” the statement said.

The production house emphasized that the accident was unrelated to any ongoing or scheduled film work and urged people to avoid drawing unverified connections. They appealed to the public and media to not associate the incident with the film or its crew without proper verification.

“We sincerely request everyone to refrain from drawing unverified associations with the film or its crew,” the statement concluded.

Hombale Films’ clarification comes at a time when social media speculations had begun linking Kapil’s demise to the production of Kantara. The studio's detailed note now sets the record straight and urges sensitivity and accuracy in reporting such tragic developments.
