Box Office: Toilet - Ek Prem Katha becomes Akshay Kumar’s 9th highest opening day grosser

 

The Shree Narayan Singh directed social satire Toilet - Ek Prem Katha released yesterday. Starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, the film opened at a moderate note in the morning but soon picked up in the afternoon and evening shows. Interestingly, if Toilet - Ek Prem Katha had earned Rs 10 lakhs more, it would have beaten Jolly LLB 2 and emerged as his eighth highest opening day grosser. Moreover, if the film had earned Rs 5 lakhs less, it would have become Akshay Kumar’s tenth highest grosser.
