Box Office: Dangal surpasses Sultan at the overseas box office, next target is 3 Idiots

 

The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, that released after being in the making for two years, is inspired from the real life story of the wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who went on to make even his daughters a champion in the field of wrestling. As per reports, Dangal[24.43 mil. USD]has emerged as the 6th highest All Time Overseas Grosser after 3 Idiots [25.5 mil USD]. It has managed to surpass the lifetime overseas collection of the year’s biggest blockbuster, the Salman Khan starrer Sultan [24.38 mil USD].

 

What remains to be seen is if Dangal can surpass the other Aamir Khan starrers that has been ruling the top all time overseas grosser list which includes PK [47.2 mil USD] and Dhoom 3[31.1 mil USD]
