Box Office: Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar beats Dangal in China; collects USD 6.79 million on Day 1

 

The Advait Chanda directed film Secret Superstar released in India a while back. However the film which features Aamir Khan hit screens in China on Friday much after its release in other overseas markets. However despite this delayed release secret superstar has opened on a high note in this market.Box Office: Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar beats Dangal in China; collects USD 6.79 million on Day 1

 

In fact reports state that Secret Super start has taken off to a flying start in China with massive opening day collection. Collecting USD 6.79 million [Rs. 43.35 cr] on its opening day, Secret Superstar has in fact managed to surpass the opening day collections of Aamir Khan’s previous release Dangal that had collected USD 2.27 million [Rs. 14.67 cr.].

 

While the staggering success of Secret Superstar at the Chinese box office is being attributed to the tremendous goodwill that Dangal and Pk had created within the territory, the film itself is expected to record magical collections in the coming days.
