Two minute film to premiere at Zee Cine Awards

A two minute film will be premiering at the tenth Zee Cine Awards to be held in Malaysia today. The film titled Pyaar Ki Shuruaat directed by Rajesh Krishnan an inter-community love story, where the leading couple played by Nitin Nayyar and Gargi Sharma belong to different faiths. Their families who have been enemies for generations oppose their relationship. This forms the crux of the story. Zee Cinema's business head Bharat Ranga said that Zee Cinema is the pioneer of two minute films in India having started with the first two minute thriller Paap Ka Anth. Pyaar Ki Shuruaat will subsequently be released on Zee Cinema on 2 April 2007 following its premiere. Incidentally Zee also has another film lined up for release today based on an inter-caste conflict. Khanna & Iyer, a full-fledged film is all set to hit the screens. It speaks of the leading pair running away from home as their parents oppose their relationship due to caste differences.
