HHGAK satellite solds within a month of release:
Venus has sold the satellite rights of its just-released film HUM HO GAYE AAPKE to Zee in less than a month of its release (on August 3). According to Venus' Ganesh Jain, it seemed to be the only way out. "That was the only way we could recover part of our investment, since the film fared poorly and we could not even break even. Had we sold the satellite rights later, they would have hardly fetched the same price in the market. In any case, the film was distributed by us and the theatrical business of the film was virtually over," Jain says.
