Big B and AB's Baby finally come together

After years of waiting, the powerful pairing of real life father and son did come together for a film. We are talking about Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan who did come together as Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar rolled on floors just recently. This is the first time that both Abhishek Bachchan and Ram Gopal Varma are working with Amitabh Bachchan. The first scene of the movie was filmed at a school for blind in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. However the opening scene was not picturized on the father-son duo but Amitabh and Virendra Saxena participated in the shot. Amitabh appeared for the shot dressed in a black shirt, black South Indian lungi known as the mundoo and heavy beads of rudraksha maala around his neck. He plays a powerful character in the film where everybody addresses him as Sarkar. Abhishek joined the shoot post lunch. Sarkar is a desi version of Godfather where Amitabh and Abhishek play father and son in the film. Incidentally though the father-son duo were actually supposed to come together in Rajkumar Santoshi's Ranveer, the film never went to floors till date. The Bachchans will appear together once again in Shaad Ali's Bunty Aur Babli which will go on floors in October. Also Ram Gopal Varma was initially supposed to direct Amitabh Bachchan in his multi-starrer flick Ek but the film was shelved. RGV however has directed Abhishek Bachchan in Naach to release in November this year.
