Anand Kumar's next to be tilted Meerut Junction

Director Anand Kumar, who is synonymous with the unreleased Zilla Ghaziabad (a hard hitting flick starring Vivek Oberoi and others), has now announced

 

his next flick called Meerut Junction, a film that's based on the rail mafia. The film's script is written by Vinay Sharma, who also happens to be the Anand Kumar's next to be tilted Meerut Junction

 

writer of Zilla Ghaziabad.

 

Meerut Junction will be produced by Saurabh Varma and Tripur Singh, two of the ex-corporate head honchos, who are now venturing into film production.

 

Meerut Junction will be a rustic love story with the backdrop of rail mafia in the country and that the film has been inspired by real life incidents.

 

Speaking about the film, Tripur Singh said, "Meerut Junction is a quirky love story with a very unique storyline, and is a subject which will attract

 

all from 15 to 80 years of age group." Adding to that, Saurabh Varma said, "Our vision was very clear. We wanted a film that would be real with a gripping

 

story and entertainer too. The script is so unique that it will attract the classes and masses alike."

 

The preproduction for the film is on and is slated to go on floor in March 2012.
