The process of putting on the make up would require 4&1/2 hours everyday, while taking it off would require 2 hours. More importantly, the make up had to be removed within 2 hours because it affects the skin."

"I was very clear that nobody should recognize Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. I therefore modeled the look of his face on actual Progeria patients. First Amitji went to London where a mould of his face which covered his head was made using latex and Plaster of Paris. The good thing about latex is that it acquires the form of the face it is applied on and solidifies in 10 minutes.

We did two-three look tests for Mr. Bachchan and once the mould template was finalized, we made a mould using silicon and several pieces of skin for the cheeks, nose, etc..."
