A love story with a difference! Bela Sehgal's film depicted the love story between 2 middle-aged people proving that there indeed is no age limit to fall in love. Kabir Khan's blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger had a lot of deadly action sequences but at the core of it, this was a love story between an Indian RAW agent (Salman Khan) and a Pakistani spy (Katrina Kaif). The film did face some opposition in Pakistan because of its slightly controversial topic but in India it was loved by one and all emerging the biggest blockbuster of 2012.
Debutant Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starred as a duo who simply love to hate each other in Habib Faisal's rustic Ishaqzaade. For most of the film, Arjun and Parineeti were at logger-heads only to later fall head over heels in love with each other.
