This particular picture is quite different from the other pictures in the calendar. It does not speak of passion or dreams or anything of that sort. It is just a simple depiction of the strong bond shared by a mother and her daughter.

Soha looks very sweet in this picture, exactly like the kind of person she is in real life. She is just leaning her head over her mother's shoulder. Her mother Sharmila Tagore still looks extremely beautiful with her cute dimpled smile on her face. Both the ladies are very simple and natural in the picture and yet look so beautiful depicting the kind of beautiful people they actually are.

Also, Jatin seems to have captured the similarity in the looks of the two giving out the message of every young girl wanting to be like her mother as she grows up.

It is undoubtedly a very natural yet gorgeous picture in the calendar.

It's been more than two weeks since New Year but the calendar season is still on. Two weeks back we posted Daboo Ratnani's calendar of 2006 on our website. Today, we have got a special presentation of Jatin Kampani's calendar which he has shot for JW Marriott.

Marriott Group of Hotels, the world's leading hospitality chain, recently introduced a revolutionary bedding package 'Revive'. Known to be trendsetters, Marriott launched this bedding through their Calendar for 2006 which features 14 celebrities belonging to the film, fashion, sports and art world who have been achievers in their respective fields.

The concept of these pictures is basically trying to, in a way, invade the personal spaces of the celebrities and know how they are when alone, all by themselves. The pictures try to capture their power and the thoughts on their mind when they start from the bedroom, ready to take over the world.

Fashion Photographer Jatin Kampani seems to have given this project some really interesting thought. Keeping in mind the image of every celebrity and the theme of the calendar, which is 'Revive', he has brilliantly applied semiotics to every picture, smartly incorporated the main product 'the bed' in every picture and beautifully captured the images.

So here's a sneak peek to J W Marriott's calendar for Revive shot by Jatin Kampani.

Feroze Gujral:

This is one of the most gorgeous pictures shot for the calendar. It shows the gorgeous Feroze Gujral scantily covered by the bed sheet. She is just being herself in the bed and ends up posing like a beautiful sculpture. In the background is an artist who is possibly a voyeur trying to capture that beautiful moment. The picture plays around the belief which most people have that a woman looks at the best of her beauty when she wakes up in the morning.

The photographer has definitely managed to recreate that magical moment and cover it in his camera and the beautiful Feroze, with her sculpted body, has done full justice to the picture making it look a masterpiece. It also depicts that this super model's beauty is worth appreciation whether she is just alone by herself or whether she is on ramp with the entire cameras focusing on her.

This is undoubtedly the best picture of the calendar and will also go on record as one of the best photography created by Jatin Kampani. The picture possibly depicts Jesse as the Greek Goddess of Nike (small wings and a transparent dress being the unique features of Nike). The photographer possibly tried to link the fact of Jesse being a very successful supermodel ruling the fashion world and the winning attitude of the goddess of victory, Nike.

The picture is amazingly shot with a magical light effect, with her lower part of the robe flying as if she is walking in the Heavens. Jessi looks stunning in the picture with beautiful wig and Greek deity attire which she carries off well.
