Amitabh Bachchan Amitabh Bachchan was born to well known Hindi poet Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his wife Teji Bachchan. Bachchan was initially named Inquilaab, inspired from the famous phrase Inquilaab Zindabad.
