Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to social media to wish her cousin-sister Parineeti Chopra on her 38th birthday on Thursday, October 22. The actress shared a photograph of Parineeti along with a warm birthday message, wishing her a year filled with happiness, love and everything she hopes for.
In the picture shared by Priyanka, Parineeti was seen wearing a pink outfit embellished with pearls. She completed her look with matching makeup and earrings. Accompanying the photograph, Priyanka wrote, “Happy Birthday Tisha, @parineetichopra! Here’s to a beautiful year filled with love, laughter and everything your heart wishes for,” extending her wishes to her sister on the special occasion.
This birthday marks Parineeti's second celebration since she embraced motherhood. The actress, who was born on October 22, 1988, welcomed her son, Neer, with her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, in October 2025. Priyanka has previously spoken about her happiness at becoming a ‘maasi’ to her nephew.
In November 2025, Parineeti offered a glimpse of the gifts she received for Neer from Priyanka, her husband Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti Marie. The hamper included baby shoes, clothes, a hairbrush and other essentials for the newborn. Expressing her gratitude, Parineeti wrote, “Neer getting spoilt already!" She also affectionately referred to Priyanka as “Mimi masi", Nick as “Nick masa" and Malti as “Malti didi".
The two actresses have shared glimpses of their relationship on social media over the years. However, Priyanka's absence from Parineeti and Raghav's wedding in Udaipur in September 2023 had attracted attention. Parineeti's mother, Madhu Chopra, had clarified that Priyanka was occupied with work commitments. The actress later congratulated the couple online, writing, “My blessings always.”
On the professional front, Parineeti made her acting debut with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl in 2011. She subsequently appeared in films such as Ishaqzaade, Shuddh Desi Romance, Hasee Toh Phasee, Kesari, Saina and Amar Singh Chamkila.
Following her maternity break, Parineeti returned to acting with the Netflix series Shaque: Trust No One, which premiered in September 2026. She also featured in the investigative thriller Reporting Live, released in October 2026.
